Hydraulics can convert a small amount of energy into a much larger force that can be applied not merely to simple work such as moving or lifting goods but also to more complicated needs, having capacity of high-precision position control.
Examples include Koyo Seiki’s hydraulic cylinders used in a wide range of equipment needed to support our society and daily life, such as construction and cargo-handling machinery (cranes, excavators, forklifts, elevated work vehicles) and testing equipment (vehicle testing, vibration testing). 　

To protect people and social infrastructure from earthquakes and other disasters, installation of oil dampers, especially in high-rise buildings, has increased in recent years. Seismic isolation systems, using oil dampers, have been installed in container cranes at port and other facilities, to prevent them from falling over. Koyo Seiki provides oil dampers for various other applications cases, and customizes designs to meet specific technological and performance requirements.
